Role Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer at Retal, based on real estate development projects across residential and commercial properties.

Role Purpose

Lead mechanical design and engineering initiatives for large-scale real estate development projects, overseeing HVAC systems, building infrastructure, and mechanical installations while ensuring all systems meet performance standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Develop and review mechanical engineering designs for building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for building permits and approvals.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Conduct site inspections and technical audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical system deficiencies and recommend corrective solutions.

Project Execution & Coordination

• Manage mechanical system installations and coordinate with contractors and trade partners.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and consultants throughout project delivery.

Team Development

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8 or more years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
• Valid professional engineer license or ability to obtain licensure in Saudi Arabia.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency with CAD software and building information modeling tools.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical systems in commercial and residential construction.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic preferred.
