Senior Manager, Mobile Engineering at Majid Al Futtaim, leading mobile platform architecture and engineering teams for MAF Customer Solutions in Jordan.

Role Purpose
Scale the SHARE platform to 30 million members across MENA by 2027 by leading end-to-end mobile engineering programs, evolving mobile architecture, driving adoption of modern technologies like Kotlin Multiplatform, and building high-performing engineering teams while improving delivery velocity and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Program Management
- Lead end-to-end technical programs, managing scope, risks, resources, budgets, timelines, and delivery.
- Drive measurable outcomes including faster releases, KMP and design-system adoption, crash-free performance, customer growth, retention, revenue, and delivery against milestones and budget.
Mobile Architecture & Platform Engineering
- Own and evolve the mobile architecture across iOS, Android, Flutter, and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
- Build and govern reusable mobile components, design tokens, theming, and shared platform capabilities across applications.
- Design reusable mobile platforms, SDKs, shared components, and modular architectures for large-scale consumer applications.
Kotlin Multiplatform Strategy
- Drive adoption of KMP for shared business logic, networking, and UI, including distribution through XCFrameworks and AARs.
Mini App & Engineering Excellence
- Define the Mini App architecture and integration standards.
- Improve testing, CI/CD, ADRs, engineering standards, and developer experience across teams.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, senior engineers, and technical leads.
- Manage performance, training, hiring, and talent pipelines.
- Build high-performing teams aligned around a shared vision.
Stakeholder & Agile Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Design, DevOps, Security, QA, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Use agile methodologies and effective governance to drive cross-functional alignment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of senior mobile engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
- Proven delivery of complex consumer digital products.
- Working experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Flutter.
Skills & Competencies
- Expert-level iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit) with experience integrating KMP XCFrameworks.
- Solid Android and Kotlin knowledge.
- Strong expertise in Agile, CI/CD, TDD, and BDD.
- Hands-on technical capability with strong technical decision-making and trade-off evaluation.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Customer-focused, strategic, and innovative mindset with passion for solving meaningful problems.
- Understanding of how to scale digital products to millions of users across the region.
- Fluent English and Arabic required.
