Senior Manager - Construction Management

Role Overview

Senior Manager, Construction Management at Qiddiya Investment Company. This role leads the execution and delivery of large-scale construction projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and project objectives.

Role Purpose

Oversee the full construction lifecycle from mobilization through project completion and handover. Direct contractors, consultants, and project teams to achieve delivery objectives while driving operational excellence, stakeholder management, and compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Execution & Planning

• Lead all construction activities from mobilization through project completion and handover.
• Oversee construction planning, sequencing, and execution strategies.
• Manage contractors, consultants, and site supervision teams to achieve project delivery objectives.
• Drive value engineering, constructability reviews, and productivity improvement initiatives.

Project Controls & Monitoring

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and construction performance.
• Review and manage contractor progress, change orders, claims, and commercial issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical, construction, and interface issues.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety policies.

Risk Management

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize impacts on cost, schedule, and quality.

Stakeholder Management & Coordination

• Coordinate with design, project management, procurement, HSE, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Lead site meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Prepare executive reports and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in construction management.
• Significant experience delivering large-scale infrastructure, residential, mixed-use, or major development projects.
• Proven track record managing contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, contract administration, and quality management.
• Experience working on complex master-planned developments, mega projects, or large infrastructure programs is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, PE, or equivalent are advantageous.
