Role Purpose

To provide senior legal expertise on complex M&A and private equity transactions across the Middle East, working as an integrated team member with hands-on client contact while developing transaction management capabilities and mentoring junior associates.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management

• Handle a variety of work including public and private M&A and PE transactions across the Middle East.
• Take responsibility for and manage transactions.
• Develop outstanding transactional and organisational skills and superb technical abilities.

Client and Team Collaboration

• Work closely with clients and other lawyers.
• Mentor junior associates.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–7 years post-qualified experience in M&A and private equity.
• Proven track record of acting or leading on M&A and Private Equity transactions.
• Previous experience working in a top tier international law firm.
• First class legal ability coupled with a practical commercial approach.
• Exceptional results throughout academic history.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluent in English.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic language would be valued but is not a prerequisite.
• Ability to work as part of a friendly outgoing team.
