Senior Legal Generalist (RUSSIAN language + ENG)

Role Overview

Senior Legal Generalist at MIRA Construction. This is a remote position with a global scope covering IT, Fintech, and banking legal matters.

Role Purpose

Provide comprehensive legal support across multiple jurisdictions and regulated markets, handling corporate expansion, commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and strategic legal projects while balancing business priorities with legal risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Expansion & Jurisdiction Support

• Provide legal support for expansion into new jurisdictions, including corporate setup, local approvals, and launch-related matters.
• Support licensing processes and ongoing legal matters in regulated jurisdictions, including Malta, India, and the UAE / DIFC.

Contract & Commercial Management

• Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain a wide range of commercial agreements, including service, technology, vendor, partnership, and other business-critical contracts.

Legal & Regulatory Oversight

• Monitor legal and regulatory developments in relevant markets and turn them into clear, practical recommendations for the business.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead legal workstreams and coordinate cross-functional projects together with compliance, operations, finance, technology, and leadership teams.
• Advise internal teams on commercial, regulatory, employment, and broader people-related issues.

External Counsel Management

• Manage relationships with external counsel and ensure efficient, high-quality, and commercially sound legal support.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of post-qualification experience at international law firms or IT / Fintech companies.
• Strong track record of independently handling sophisticated multi-jurisdictional matters and delivering within deadlines.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluent Russian and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and practical way to non-legal stakeholders.
• Confident user of Google Workspace and modern AI tools, including Gemini, Claude, and similar platforms, with the ability to apply them effectively in day-to-day work.
• Commercially minded approach with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay effective under pressure.
