Role Purpose
Collect, process, analyze, publish, and disseminate threat intelligence to threat-inform risk-based decisions across Mastercard. Translate complex intelligence into clear, actionable products for technical and non-technical audiences, and lead partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to fuse intelligence and enable threat sharing across public and private partners.
Key Responsibilities
Intelligence Collection & Analysis
- Collect, process, and analyze threat intelligence from diverse sources including open-source, technical, geopolitical, cyber, fraud, and physical security domains.
- Monitor threat activity and translate complex information into clear, actionable intelligence products.
- Apply structured analytic techniques, threat modeling, and risk assessment methodologies to intelligence analysis.
Risk Assessment & Reporting
- Author risk assessments that capture threat landscape impacts to business operations.
- Brief intelligence analysis to senior and executive internal stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Stakeholder Partnerships
- Lead partnerships with internal stakeholders, principally Regional Security and Crisis Management, to fuse intelligence from across the organization.
- Lead partnerships with external stakeholders such as government departments, law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and industry to enable threat intelligence sharing across public and private partners.
Resilience & Planning
- Support threat scenario development for red teaming, exercising, and resilience testing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in intelligence studies, political science, cybersecurity, international affairs, or a related discipline.
- Experience collecting, evaluating, and synthesizing intelligence from diverse sources.
- Solid understanding of intelligence tradecraft, structured analytic techniques, threat modeling, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Understanding of key threat domains including geopolitical, physical security, and cyber threats.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to quickly learn emerging trends and assess their business impact.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for senior executive audiences.
- Sound judgment, curiosity, and proactive approach to identifying threats and informing risk-based decisions.
