Senior High Voltage Engineer (EOI)

Senior High Voltage Engineer position with Surbana Jurong Group for upcoming energy and infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an Expression of Interest recruitment.

Role Purpose

Provide technical leadership for the design and delivery of high-voltage power systems, including transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Delivery

• Lead the design and delivery of HV and EHV substations, including AIS and GIS systems.
• Prepare and review substation layouts, single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and technical specifications.
• Undertake protection studies, equipment selection, and design reviews.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, utilities, contractors, and stakeholders.

Project Support

• Support procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and technical assurance activities.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and designers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in high-voltage power engineering.
• Strong experience in AIS/GIS substations and protection design.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, utility standards, and grid code requirements.
• Experience with transmission, distribution, renewable energy, or major infrastructure projects.
• Previous Middle East or Saudi Arabia project experience is highly desirable.
