Role Purpose

To provide expert hair care services that enhance the appearance and confidence of customers, delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalized consultation, innovation, and a strong focus on care and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation & Service Delivery

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate styles, services, and products.
• Consult and provide input at every stage of the styling process, advising on colour, style, hair type, and treatments.
• Cut, trim, and style hair to customer specifications.
• Provide hair coloration services ranging from basic to artistic colorations and highlights.
• Perform permanent straightening and wave treatments using specialized products.

Client Relations & Records

• Maintain relationships with key customers and detailed records of services provided, including hair color shade and permanent wave formulas used.

Knowledge & Professional Development

• Stay up to date on the latest styles and trends.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products used or sold in the salon.

Salon Standards & Operations

• Maintain personal grooming standards and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the salon at all times.
• Coordinate with receptionists to maximize the number of appointments per day.

Team Leadership & Training

• Guide and supervise hair and salon assistants to ensure they maintain the salon's standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school qualification.
• Formal hairdressing qualification (City & Guilds Level 2).
• 3–4 years of hair cutting experience in a reputable salon.

• Passion for hairdressing, style, and trends.
• Pleasant personality and good grooming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
