Role Overview

Senior Frontend-Odoo Developer at Squadio. The position leads and supports an ongoing Odoo enterprise project, requiring extensive expertise in front-end development and modern web technologies to deliver scalable, high-performance, user-centric web interfaces.

Role Purpose

Design, develop, and customize front-end solutions within the Odoo enterprise ecosystem while collaborating with functional consultants, back-end developers, and project managers to deliver responsive, performant, and secure user interfaces aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and customize front-end themes and modules to align with business requirements.
• Customize QWeb and dynamic reports in Odoo 18 enterprise.
• Develop custom widgets using the latest Odoo framework.

User Interface & Experience

• Implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces with strong attention to UX/UI best practices.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Performance & Quality

• Optimize web applications for performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end issues efficiently.

Collaboration & Learning

• Collaborate with functional consultants, back-end developers, and project managers during the Odoo upgrade process.
• Stay up to date with latest Odoo Enterprise features and emerging front-end technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4-5 years of proven experience in Odoo front-end development.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, OWL (Odoo Web Library), and latest Odoo library.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, AJAX, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience in UI/UX principles and building user-friendly interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
