Senior Environmental Manager - (EOI)

Role Overview

Senior Environmental Manager position at JASARA PMC. This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) recruitment for a key leadership role overseeing environmental management on mixed-use development projects.

Role Purpose

Lead environmental management efforts across mixed-use development projects by integrating environmental policies and sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting environmental stewardship across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Environmental Compliance & Management

• Lead and manage environmental aspects for mixed-use development projects, ensuring adherence to all applicable environmental regulations and standards.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments, risk evaluations, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee environmental monitoring, reporting, and compliance activities throughout project phases.
• Prepare detailed environmental reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and internal use.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to integrate sustainable solutions and best practices.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams to foster environmentally responsible project execution.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental policies, procedures, and sustainable development initiatives.
• Facilitate training and capacity-building sessions to enhance environmental awareness among project personnel.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental management, with a focus on mixed-use or large-scale development projects.
• Proven experience in conducting environmental impact assessments (EIA) and environmental risk management.
• Strong knowledge of local and international environmental laws, regulations, and sustainability frameworks.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Familiarity with environmental certifications and standards such as LEED and BREEAM is an advantage.
