Senior Electrical Manager

Role Overview

Senior Electrical Manager at JASARA PMC. The role leads and manages all electrical engineering and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring electrical systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and budget requirements.

Role Purpose

To direct electrical engineering and construction delivery across all project phases, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, and achieving successful project completion on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and oversee all electrical engineering and construction activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop electrical engineering teams.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.

Design & Technical Compliance

• Manage electrical design reviews and ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, technical submittals, and material selections.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project execution.

Stakeholder & Contractor Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical bids and vendor proposals.

Project Controls

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and management presentations.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is an advantage.
• Professional Engineering certification is preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
