Role Purpose

Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure and governance systems that enable accurate, timely data delivery to business teams. Develop analytics systems, data agents, and real-time data collection pipelines that support compliance, trading, and operational decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data Delivery & Support

• Leverage big data technologies to build a structured data delivery system for Compliance, Trading, and other business teams.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and traceable data outputs.
• Maintain the team's existing data development workflows.

Analytics & Reporting

• Develop analytical systems and monitoring dashboards for business teams.
• Produce data reports to support performance attribution and data-driven operational oversight.

Data Governance & Standards

• Author application-layer data warehouse documentation.
• Establish field-level data standards.
• Lead company-wide data asset management.

Automation & Intelligent Systems

• Build data agents (e.g., MCP Skills) to automate data retrieval and analysis workflows.
• Improve team productivity through automation.

Data Sourcing & Infrastructure

• Build efficient, real-time data collection systems.
• Scrape or procure data resources the team needs.
• Manage web scraping, procured API ingestion, and various procured accounts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong Python skills for data analysis and modeling, including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Solid coding fundamentals.
• Proficiency with big data frameworks including Spark and Hadoop.
• Large-scale data processing experience.
• Familiarity with one or more OLAP engines such as Presto, Doris, StarRocks, or ClickHouse.
• Strong SQL skills, capable of complex queries and data modeling independently.
• Working knowledge of Java and mainstream frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with container-based deployment including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with Git and standard version control practices.

Skills & Competencies

• Experience with AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or Kilo Code.
• Ability to integrate AI into daily workflows beyond "vibe coding."
• GitHub open-source contributions (self-written or AI-assisted both acceptable; any domain including scrapers, full-stack, or tooling).
• Experience building autonomous agents such as LLM-based automation, conversational systems, or MCP Servers.
• Practical experience in machine learning, deep learning, time-series modeling, or anomaly detection.
