Senior Contracts Management Engineer

Role Overview

Senior Contracts Management Engineer at HILL International. The role manages the complete contract lifecycle across large-scale projects, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and smooth execution of contractual obligations.

Role Purpose

Support the entire contract lifecycle from drafting through compliance, identify and mitigate contractual risks, maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure all contracts align with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Lifecycle Management

• Support managing the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, implementation, and compliance.
• Monitor and track contract deliverables, milestones, and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth contract execution.

Risk & Compliance

• Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and propose appropriate solutions.
• Conduct regular contract audits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Identify and resolve any contract-related issues or disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inform yourself of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within HILL International and ensure continued compliance with these requirements while employed by HILL.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and project management, to ensure contract terms are aligned with company policies and objectives.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare and present reports on contract performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in contract management to continuously improve processes and systems.

General

• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in contracts management, including overall responsibility for contract management on large-scale projects.
• Experience with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia procurement law.
• Demonstrated experience in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration and negotiation of change orders, effective correspondence, planning and scheduling.
• Thorough knowledge of prime contracts management administration as well as (sub) contract formation and administration, execution office and field procedures and documents relating to a multi-discipline construction project.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
