Company Overview

Wynn Al Marjan Island is the first integrated resort in the UAE, set to open in 2027, located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theater, beach club, multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, salon, shopping promenade, and celebrations and events center.

Role Purpose

Support the Wynn Oasis Engineering team by conducting inspections, repairs, and maintenance of staff housing buildings and associated facilities across civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems to ensure safe, functional living environments for residents.

Key Responsibilities

Inspections and Assessments

• Conduct regular inspections of staff housing buildings and associated facilities to identify maintenance needs across civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings, riser diagrams, and layout plans to support installations and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of common areas, external zones, and service corridors, reporting any hazards or deterioration.

Maintenance and Repairs

• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on building infrastructure including plumbing fixtures, electrical components (lights, sockets, isolators, DBs), HVAC support systems, doors, windows, tiles, ceilings, and other architectural elements.
• Support HVAC and electrical technicians during PPM activities, including filter changes, coil cleaning, fixture replacements, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist in renovation, refurbishment, and improvement projects, including painting, patching, carpentry, and minor civil works.

Emergency Response and Issue Resolution

• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests, complaints, and emergency breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to residents.

Coordination and Collaboration

• Coordinate with specialized technicians, trade owners, contractors, and vendors for outsourced services such as façade cleaning, waterproofing, rigging point certification, BMU inspections, and pest control.
• Collaborate with other trades and departments (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, civil, housekeeping) to complete multi-disciplinary tasks efficiently.

Documentation and Inventory

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, service reports, and job cards using digital or manual systems.
• Monitor and manage inventory of tools, consumables, and spare parts, ensuring availability of essential items and reporting shortages to supervisors.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and UAE building codes during all tasks.
• Participate in scheduled audits, inspections, and safety drills as required by the engineering team or HSE department.

Operational Flexibility

• Remain flexible and available for deployment across different zones or buildings based on operational priorities and business needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in building maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in facilities or building maintenance roles.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with CAFM platforms and maintenance documentation.
