Senior BIM Specialist

Role Overview

Senior BIM Specialist at JASARA PMC. The role leads BIM and digital delivery activities across major infrastructure and engineering projects, providing strategic oversight of BIM implementation, model coordination, information management, and digital engineering processes to ensure efficient project delivery and compliance with client requirements and industry standards.

Role Purpose

Lead BIM implementation and digital delivery across the full project lifecycle. Establish governance frameworks, oversee multidisciplinary coordination, manage information systems, and drive integration between BIM, GIS, Digital Twin, and asset management platforms to deliver projects efficiently and in compliance with client and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Implementation & Strategy

• Lead BIM implementation and digital delivery across all project lifecycle stages.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Drive integration between BIM, GIS, Digital Twin, and asset information management systems.
• Support innovation, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives through effective use of BIM technologies.

Model Coordination & Integration

• Oversee multidisciplinary model coordination and integration across engineering disciplines.
• Support design reviews, constructability assessments, clash detection, and project coordination activities.

Information Management

• Manage BIM execution plans, information management processes, and Common Data Environment (CDE) requirements.
• Review and approve BIM deliverables from consultants and contractors.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on BIM best practices and digital engineering initiatives.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful digital project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM, Digital Engineering, or Information Management on major infrastructure, transportation, utilities, or building projects.
• Proven experience leading BIM implementation on multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, information management, and digital delivery processes.
• Experience managing consultant and contractor BIM deliverables and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies

• Familiarity with industry platforms including Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bentley applications.
• Proficiency with related BIM technologies.
• Knowledge of Aconex, ProjectWise, and SharePoint platforms.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications

• BIM Professional Certification.
• Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent certification.
• Experience on giga-projects or large-scale infrastructure programs.
• Experience with BIM-GIS integration, Digital Twins, and asset management systems.
