Role Overview

Senior Analyst - Business Planning at AD Ports Group. The role provides strategic and operational business planning and analysis support to the business leadership team.

Role Purpose

To deliver comprehensive business planning and financial analysis support, enabling senior leadership to make informed strategic decisions, track performance against organizational goals, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Business Planning & Analysis

• Provide strategic and operational business planning and analysis support to the business leadership team.
• Develop financial models and reporting tools to support decision-making.
• Conduct complex financial analysis and contribute to business plan development.
• Work closely with business partners to implement business plans, track performance against goals, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure that business planning activities are aligned with the long-term strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Track, maintain and provide up-to-date information on the business unit's metrics and scorecard.
• Create and maintain project issue logs, meeting minutes, and meeting schedules.
• Provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress.

Project & Operations Management

• Develop project plans and specifications, estimating time and resources.
• Monitor milestone completion and track all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Execute action points and follow up completion with the advised timelines.
• Coordinate actions and resolve conflicts.

Stakeholder & Data Management

• Liaise with cross-functional teams to facilitate data collection and performance measurement process.
• Escalate issues as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in conducting complex financial analysis, contributing to business plan development, and providing decision support to senior leadership.
• Experience in a relevant industry or sector preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent English language skills.
• Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
