Role Purpose
Lead the security team to protect guests, colleagues, and property at Mama Shelter Dubai, ensuring the hotel remains a safe place to work, play, and enjoy. Keep the security operation alert, responsive, and ready for any situation while supporting the mission to bring moments of happiness to people.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise, guide, and motivate the security team to ensure everyone knows their role and is ready to keep Mama safe.
- Lead shift briefings and debriefings to keep the team aligned, informed, and ready for each day.
- Bring out the best in your team through clear direction and effective guidance.
Patrols & Monitoring
- Conduct regular patrols across the hotel to spot potential risks before they become problems.
- Keep a watchful eye across the property, maintaining awareness of all areas.
- Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms, and other security systems to maintain control and respond quickly to suspicious activity.
Access Control & Inspections
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain security standards.
- Enforce access control measures to keep guests, colleagues, property, and restricted areas safe and secure.
- Ensure radios, CCTV, alarms, access control, flashlights, and other security equipment are working, maintained, and ready for action.
Incident Response & Investigation
- Respond calmly and confidently to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and unexpected situations.
- Support and lead investigations into theft, damage, unauthorized access, and other security incidents.
- Ensure incidents are properly documented and reported.
Emergency Management
- Support emergency drills, fire evacuations, crisis management, and response procedures.
- Prepare the team to know exactly what to do when emergencies occur.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with all departments to support smooth daily operations, events, and busy moments while keeping safety at the center.
- Liaise professionally with SIRA, local law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant authorities whenever required.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate security logs and incident records.
- Prepare clear reports for management highlighting incidents, risks, trends, and opportunities to improve security.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a security professional or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong background in security operations and team leadership.
- Experience with access control, CCTV systems, and security protocols.
