Section Manager - Dairy

Role Overview

Section Manager - Dairy at Majid Al Futtaim, Hypermarket Kuwait.

Role Purpose

The Section Manager Dairy is responsible for implementing quality, range and freshness standards of offered goods to attract customers, achieving set sales targets, and delivering exceptional customer service within the section.

Key Responsibilities

Competitive Intelligence

• Monitor and report competitor activities including prices, range, and promotional activities to ensure competitive advantage.
• Stay informed about competition activities in the store's catchment area and take necessary measures.
• Support comparative studies within the section that can contribute to the efficiency of commercial concepts.

Commercial Operations

• Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers to enforce the image of discount inside the section.
• Oversee the establishment of a competitive assortment offer.
• Oversee commercial policy agreed for the store pricing.
• Oversee the products assortment in the section.

Asset Management

• Ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of the department's assets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Commerce or Finance.
• 2+ years in Retail Business.
• 1+ year in an operations supervisory role.

Skills & Competencies

• Communication and presentation skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Time management.
