Role Overview
Sales Manager at Hilton. The role involves generating and managing group sales while delivering memorable guest experiences that embody the warmth and light of hospitality.
Role Purpose
Generate and convert new business through proactive outreach and relationship building. Develop and execute targeted sales strategies that drive group sales, maximize revenue, and exceed lead generation goals while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining to drive group sales and exceed lead generation goals.
- Generate and convert new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments.
- Nurture existing accounts and develop new ones to grow room revenue and overall profitability.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Analyze hotel and market trends to create and execute business plans and marketing initiatives that capture demand and meet sales goals.
- Develop targeted sales strategies.
Sales Execution
- Prepare proposals, conduct site visits, negotiate terms, and secure contracts tailored to client needs while maximizing revenue.
- Lead end-to-end sales process.
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate customer requirements including room, food and beverage, and meeting space.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of account and reservation information in the hotel's sales management system.
- Manage booking details.
