Role Overview
Sales Manager at Cigna, generating and managing new business leads within assigned industry categories and market segments to meet sales and profitability targets aligned with overall strategy.

Role Purpose
To develop and execute proactive sales strategies that identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities within corporate expatriate insurance markets, while building and maintaining a strong distribution network of brokers, consultants and strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Generate and follow up new business leads to meet sales and profitability targets in line with overall strategy.
- Research and develop new business opportunities within assigned industry categories and market segments.
- Assess prospective clients' existing expatriate insurance arrangements to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Develop proactive strategy with regular reviews, maximizing specific opportunities as they arise.
Client Engagement & Presentations
- Prepare focused, client-specific presentations for new business emphasizing Cigna's unique selling propositions versus competition.
- Act as adviser to prospective clients, brokers, consultants and strategic partners on all aspects of their expatriate insurance requirements.
- Research, prepare and deliver client presentations in a range of formats and settings.
Relationship & Network Management
- Build up and maintain distribution network of brokers, consultants and strategic partners.
- Liaise with other Cigna offices to develop opportunities.
- Liaise with internal departments in line with established procedures to generate growth opportunities whilst maintaining a high level of service.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Input
- Keep abreast of all developments in the market, both client and competitor-related, contributing to new product development and business initiatives accordingly.
- Participate in key projects as may be required.
Systems & Administration
- Maintain accurate database management of prospective clients and opportunities by means of SFDC CRM software.
Qualifications & Experience
- Sales experience in the corporate market with international exposure.
- Experience in corporate Employee Benefits group healthcare insurances is essential.
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is preferred.
