Role Overview

Sales Development Representative – South Africa (Remote, UAE) at CrowdStrike. This is a hybrid-remote role based in Dubai, requiring 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home.

Role Purpose

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of CrowdStrike's go-to-market strategy in the South African market. You will serve as the first point of contact for many future customers, connecting with enterprise and corporate-level prospects to identify new opportunities, drive pipeline growth and set the tone for long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Pipeline Development

• Actively engage prospective customers to identify new opportunities for CrowdStrike over the phone.
• Discover and drive new business opportunities within Corporate or Enterprise accounts.
• Run a sophisticated sales process from Prospecting to Closure.

Client Engagement

• Conduct high-level discovery calls with the C-suite and their VPs.
• Provide exceptional and high-touch customer service, including escalation and coordination of support issues as needed.

Sales Execution & Strategy

• Earn a black belt in competitive selling and objection handling.
• Stay well educated and informed as to the CrowdStrike competitive landscape and how to sell the value of solutions and services when compared to relevant competitors in the Next Generation Endpoint market space.

Expertise & Thought Leadership

• Become a cybersecurity expert and thought leader.
• Become an insider within the Cyber Security Industry and an expert of CrowdStrike products.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with marketing and channel partners to execute on a successful go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

• A strong desire to create a successful career in technology sales.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
• Cybersecurity knowledge (preferred).
• Security and/or SaaS Sales experience (preferred).
• Telephone Sales experience (preferred but not essential).
• Experience working in the South African market (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Competitive nature combined with collaborative team player mindset.
• Strong presentation skills, both in person and via virtual channels.
• Fluency in English.
• Customer Service background (a plus).
