Role Purpose
Ensure comprehensive health and safety compliance across all project activities, supervise HSE-related aspects, support stakeholders in fulfilling their responsibilities, and manage the production and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with client objectives, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety policy and procedure.
- Comply with any new work instructions.
Supervision & Management
- Take overall responsibility for supervision of health and safety related aspects of the project.
- Conduct contractor appraisals by reviewing necessary safety documents and systems.
Planning & Documentation
- Conduct review of available documents such as HSE plan and Emergency preparedness plans.
- Define, implement and manage production of all H&S reports.
Work Zone Safety
- Ensure implementation of the latest version of work zone traffic management guide.
Stakeholder Support
- Advise and provide health and safety support to the client, supervisors and employees to enable them to fulfil their HSE responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Diploma in NEBOSH, OSHA or equivalent.
- Grad IOSH or Tech IOSH membership.
- Certificate in temporary traffic management working.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English is essential.
Additional Information
- Qatar driving licence would be an advantage.
