Role Purpose
To transform used guest rooms into pristine, welcoming environments, ensuring complete guest satisfaction and upholding the property's reputation by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort in guest rooms and assigned public areas.
Key Responsibilities
Room Cleaning & Servicing
- Strip and make beds with fresh linens.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms including toilets, showers, sinks, and tiles.
- Dust or polish all furniture and fixtures.
Floor Care
- Vacuum carpets in guest rooms, corridors, and entryways.
- Sweep and mop hard floors in guest rooms, corridors, and entryways.
Restocking Supplies
- Replenish bath amenities including soap, shampoo, and towels according to brand standards.
- Replenish room refreshments including coffee, tea, and minibar items according to brand standards.
Maintenance & Reporting
- Inspect rooms for damages, lightbulb burnouts, or appliance malfunctions.
- Report maintenance issues immediately.
Guest Services
- Greet guests politely.
- Respond to requests for extra towels or pillows.
- Turn in any lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
Cart & Inventory Management
- Stock, organize, and maintain the housekeeping cleaning cart at the start and end of each shift.
- Stock, organize, and maintain floor linen closets at the start and end of each shift.
