Role Purpose

The Engineering function is responsible for maintenance and planning across the hotel to ensure full availability and serviceability of all hotel facilities, minimize guest disruption, oversee repair and preventative maintenance work to standard, and maintain functional emergency recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Conduct all operational tasks in the Engineering department in line with required service standards and procedures.
• Execute preventative maintenance of hotel assets according to established protocols.
• Complete repair work to standard.
• Oversee reconstruction work completion to standard.

Guest Service & Communication

• Put customer interests first in all decisions and actions.
• Prevent complaints and ensure adequate service recovery where needed.
• Go the extra mile where possible.
• Proactively communicate with fellow team members, always with the guest's interests at heart.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum certification in Maintenance Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a similar position in a 5-star hospitality company.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance of hotel assets.
