Road Engineer

Role Overview

Road Engineer position at HanmiGlobal Saudi. The role supports the design and implementation of road infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient delivery and compliance with specifications.

Role Purpose

Assist in the development of road layouts, pavement designs, and related civil engineering works for infrastructure projects. Contribute technical expertise and site oversight to ensure projects meet design standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Development

• Assist in preparing designs, drawings, and specifications for road construction projects.
• Conduct technical calculations and analysis related to road design and pavement structure.
• Develop road layouts and pavement designs.

Project Execution & Collaboration

• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders as required.

Site Monitoring & Quality Assurance

• Support site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and safety standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Help prepare reports, cost estimates, and project documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 12 years of experience in road engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with projects in Saudi Arabia or Middle East is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software.
• Good understanding of road design principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under supervision in a dynamic project environment.
