Risk & Governance Specialist

Role Overview

JASARA PMC is seeking a Risk & Governance Specialist to join the team. The role involves analyzing and managing risks associated with infrastructure projects and ensuring mitigation strategies are in place to support the company's commitment to delivering high-quality projects aligned with Vision 2030 in Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

To conduct comprehensive risk assessments across infrastructure projects, develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies, and embed risk management practices throughout project workflows to protect project delivery and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Assessment & Analysis

• Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify potential risks in project plans and execution.
• Monitor changes in project scope and external factors that may introduce new risks.
• Maintain comprehensive risk registers and ensure regular updates on risk status.

Strategy & Mitigation

• Develop risk management strategies and action plans to mitigate identified risks effectively.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate risk management practices into project workflows.

Reporting & Communication

• Prepare and deliver risk analysis reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions to enhance risk awareness across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Relevant certifications in risk management such as PMI-RMP or CRM are an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and risk management tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in risk management software and project management tools.
• Effective communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
