Role Overview

Risk Analyst at Egis Group in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. You will identify, assess, and mitigate organizational risks across various business functions, working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop comprehensive risk assessments, implement risk management strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Role Purpose

To conduct detailed risk assessments and analyses across business operations, identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, and work with stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies that protect organizational assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Assessment & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyses across business operations, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Plan and perform Quantitative Schedule Risk Analyses (QSRAs) using project schedules, logic, calendars, constraints, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Plan and perform Quantitative Cost Risk Analyses (QCRAs) using cost estimates, cost breakdown structures, assumptions, allowances, and estimating uncertainty.
  • Perform Monte Carlo simulations to quantify cost exposure and determine P50, P80, P90, and contingency requirements.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative risk modeling and analysis using appropriate tools and methodologies.

Risk Modeling & Tools

  • Develop and manage risk registers, risk breakdown structures, qualitative and quantitative risk models, simulations, reporting, dashboards, and mitigation tracking using Active Risk Manager (ARM).
  • Develop cost and schedule risk models in Excel using Palisade @RISK, apply probability distributions, perform Monte Carlo simulations, and conduct sensitivity, tornado, contribution, and correlation analysis.
  • Prepare P6 schedules for risk analysis using Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA), develop schedule risk models, perform Monte Carlo simulations, and analyze criticality, schedule drivers, and P50/P80/P90 completion dates.
  • Analyze probability distributions, confidence levels, risk exposure, sensitivity, and risk drivers.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Create detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategy

  • Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to understand business processes and associated risks.
  • Analyze financial data and business metrics to evaluate risk exposure and trends.
  • Recommend risk mitigation strategies and controls to reduce organizational exposure.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project risk management, project controls, or quantitative risk analysis.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience conducting QSRAs and QCRAs.
  • Practical experience using Active Risk Manager (ARM).
  • Strong working experience with Palisade @RISK.
  • Strong working experience with Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA).
  • Experience with Monte Carlo simulation and probabilistic risk modelling.
  • Strong understanding of project schedules, cost estimates, risk registers, and project controls.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Primavera P6 and integration of schedule data into quantitative risk models.
  • Experience on major capital projects, infrastructure, construction, energy, oil & gas, transportation, or similar industries.
  • Professional certification such as PMP, PMI-RMP, APM, IRM, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ISO 31000 and recognized project risk management practices.
  • Experience with project contingency management and risk-based forecasting.
