Rigging Incharge / Team Leader with ABIS. This role leads and manages rigging activities on site during shutdown and turnaround projects.

ABIS is seeking an experienced rigging leader to oversee shutdown and turnaround operations.

Role Purpose

To lead and manage rigging activities during shutdown and turnaround projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams, and delivering timely project completion through effective team supervision and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership

• Lead and supervise rigging activities during shutdown and turnaround projects.
• Provide technical guidance and training to rigging personnel.
• Manage and motivate a team of riggers effectively.

Planning & Coordination

• Develop work plans, allocate resources, and manage schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth rigging operations.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in rigging tasks.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safe work practices within the team.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of rigging activities and prepare status reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in rigging with proven leadership roles, preferably in shutdown and turnaround projects.
• Experience in managing and leading a team of riggers.
• Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards is highly preferred.
• Certification in rigging or related safety training is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of rigging equipment, techniques, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot rigging challenges on site.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong organizational and technical skills.
