Rigger - I (ARAMCO CERTIFIED)

Role Overview

Rigger Level 1 (Aramco Certified) for Samsung E&A on an Aramco-certified project. The role involves critical lifting and rigging operations in oil and gas or industrial settings.

Role Purpose

Perform critical lifting and rigging operations for general and critical lifts while ensuring all equipment is safe, selecting appropriate rigging techniques, and adhering to Saudi Aramco's strict safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lifting Operations

• Perform all rigging and lifting operations in compliance with Saudi Aramco GI-8.001 and related lifting procedures.
• Execute rigging activities for lifting and moving materials, equipment, and machinery for general and critical lifts.
• Assist in planning lifting operations by selecting appropriate rigging equipment and techniques.

Equipment Management

• Ensure all rigging equipment is in safe working condition through regular inspection.

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to strict Aramco safety and operational standards.
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents.

Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with supervisors and other teams to ensure smooth execution of lifting tasks.
• Give clear directions and signals to crane operators using hand signals, loudspeakers, or radios.

Documentation

• Maintain records of rigging operations, inspections, and certifications.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a valid, non-expired Saudi Aramco-approved Rigger Level 1 certification.
• Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial rigging operations.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Saudi Aramco's Safety Management System (SMS) and Permit to Work (PTW) processes.

Skills & Competencies

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety standards, including international standards like ASME and OSHA.
• Read and understand rigging plans, technical drawings, and load charts.
• Communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
