Retail Business Relationship Manager

Role Overview

Retail Business Relationship Manager at TAWANTECH, supporting retail banking initiatives.

Role Purpose

Own business-IT alignment for retail banking initiatives by building comprehensive business cases, translating requirements between business and IT delivery teams, and tracking initiatives through to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business Case Development

• Build end-to-end business cases that articulate rationale, expected benefits, cost estimates, and delivery feasibility.
• Translate retail business requirements into scope that IT Delivery can plan and estimate.
• Translate delivery constraints back into business trade-offs for stakeholder consideration.

Initiative Management

• Own the initiative lifecycle from intake through business case approval.
• Track progress against plan and create detailed plans for each initiative.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams on solution options and feasibility.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with Retail business unit heads to identify, shape, and prioritize initiatives.
• Work with Retail product, channel, and customer journey owners to shape initiatives.
• Manage strong stakeholder relationships across business executives and technical teams.

Governance & Oversight

• Prepare initiative documentation and status updates for Management.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
• Keep Retail initiatives aligned with the bank's strategy program.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or business relationship management in retail banking.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products, channels, and customer journeys.
• Proven experience building business cases that bridge business value and IT delivery.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with SAMA regulatory requirements relevant to retail banking required.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in project framework creation and project tracking tools and methods.
