Relationship Officer, Retail Legal Collections (UAE National Only)

Role Overview

Relationship Officer, Retail Legal Collections at Mashreq, based in the UAE. This position is open to UAE Nationals only.

Role Purpose

Review, analyze, and follow up on charged-off cases with the objective of maximizing recoveries from each case and assisting customers to settle their overdue and unpaid liabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Recovery

• Analyze and assess customer repayment problems and convince customers to prioritize repayment to Mashreq to achieve assigned recovery targets.
• Ensure that all leads are followed up to establish contact with customers, engage with them, and work with them to help them amicably settle their outstanding liabilities.

Internal Coordination

• Coordinate internally with different departments to ensure proper follow-up on classified customers.

Reporting & Analysis

• Ensure adequate use of MIS reports to assist in improving recoveries.

Customer Service

• Provide high-quality service to internal and external customers to achieve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in banking or another similar field incorporating continuous customer engagement and dealing with target-oriented roles.
• Possess good knowledge of business products and prevailing legal laws.
