Role Overview
Relationship Analyst - Dubai at Wellington Management. Based in Dubai, this role is part of the Business Development & Relationship Management Group (Client Group) supporting institutional clients and prospects across the Middle East region.

Role Purpose
The Relationship Analyst ensures that client and consultant needs are met while supporting business development efforts. The role provides centralized coordination of various functions to service clients across entity types, delivering service alpha and maintaining high-quality relationships with prospects and existing clients in the Middle East region.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Support
- Drive preparation of high-impact presentations of standard and customized client and prospect presentation materials, briefing books and collateral materials.
- Support the local Relationship and Business Development Managers in the organization of client roadshows and client review meetings.
- Assess and support prospect and cross-selling opportunities through proactive business development activities.
- Develop an understanding of the depth and breadth of Wellington Management's investment approaches and products most relevant to the Middle East channel.
Client & Consultant Engagement
- Participate in client, consultant and prospect meetings and conference calls as appropriate.
- Act as a point of contact for various groups within client organizations.
- Coordinate key client communications acting as a trusted liaison between clients and internal teams.
- Conduct analysis, initiate investigations and respond to internal and external ad-hoc inquiries on portfolio and product-specific information, investment guidelines, market trends, regulation considerations and fees.
Information Management & Coordination
- Capture and maintain client data in relevant internal systems.
- Qualify and coordinate Requests for Information (RFI's), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) and Requests for Proposals (RFP's), working with internal teams to ensure proper responses.
- Champion data accuracy and insight-driven reporting leveraging the Delivery Management Platform (DMP) for client reporting, updating requirements on existing accounts and creating new templates during onboarding.
- Work in partnership with the Investec team for SMA's.
- Oversee and coordinate the completion of information requests.
Operational Coordination
- Work with the Client Service Operations (CSO) team to provide responses on operational questions.
- Work alongside internal Funds Group as needed for fund prospecting, onboarding and servicing requirements and questions.
- Attend external meetings and prepare meeting notes and required follow-ups.
Qualifications & Experience
- Two to three years of relevant client service experience, preferably gained within the Investment Management industry.
- Experience working with institutional clients and consultants advantageous.
- Solid understanding of capital markets and/or investment products.
- Clear understanding of the Middle East market.
- Strong academic background, ideally including progress towards a professional qualification such as CFA/CAIA or equivalent.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills; other languages advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and natural collaborator who works well in a small team.
- Self-motivated, creative and enthusiastic.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment where priorities change frequently and deadlines require meeting under significant time pressure.
- Attention to detail with the ability to pull data from various applications, analyze the data and assess whether the data makes sense.
- Solid knowledge of investments to fully understand and respond to client inquiries and requests.

- Work arrangement: Employees work from office 4 days a week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day a week.
