Role Purpose

Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill infants and pediatric patients in the PICU, monitoring their clinical status continuously, managing advanced life support equipment, and supporting physicians during emergency interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Monitoring

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill infants and pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters.
• Identify changes in patients' clinical conditions and respond promptly.

Treatment & Medication Administration

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments as prescribed.
• Manage ventilated patients and provide respiratory support.

Clinical Support & Procedures

• Assist physicians during emergency procedures and critical interventions.
• Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.

Documentation & Safety

• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Follow infection control protocols and patient safety standards.

Family Support

• Provide emotional support and education to parents and family members.

Qualifications & Experience

• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Expertise in Pediatric Intensive Care.
• SHA (Sharjah Health Authority) assessment.
