Role Overview

R&D Specialist – NSP at Savola.

Role Purpose

Develop new products and enhance existing formulations in the R&D kitchen while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, managing supplier approvals, and maintaining comprehensive departmental documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Innovation

• Conduct tests in the R&D kitchen and develop new products as per provided instructions.
• Improve and enhance existing products through continuous development initiatives.
• Generate product specifications in compliance with Organization standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

Supplier & Material Management

• Approve new suppliers and raw materials in accordance with instructions from the R&D Manager.

Compliance & Audit Support

• Support the department during regulatory and customer audits by managing comprehensive documentation for assigned categories.

Department Operations

• Adhere to, communicate, and maintain R&D department policies.
• Maintain and update all master data within the department, including labels, ingredients, specifications, and recipes.

Additional Information

• Responsible for Product Development, Raw Material Approval, and Product Amendment.
