Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview

Quantity Surveyor position with Retal in Saudi Arabia, based in the Real Estate & Property division.

Role Purpose

Manage project costs, contract administration, and value optimization across property developments. Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Management

• Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Monitor project expenditures and manage variations to ensure cost control and profitability
• Conduct site inspections and measurements to verify work completion against specifications

Contract Administration

• Review tender documentation and conduct competitive analysis with suppliers and subcontractors
• Manage contract administration including payment certifications and claims processing
• Prepare final accounts and settlement documentation for project completion

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in quantity surveying or cost management within real estate or construction
• Professional certification such as RICS or equivalent recognized qualification

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in cost management software and MS Office applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
