Quantity Surveyor Manager-LDIP

Role Overview

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Manager to lead the quantity surveying team and manage all cost aspects of major construction projects in Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

To oversee cost estimating, budgeting, contract negotiation, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and according to contractual agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage the quantity surveying team throughout all project phases.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching and mentorship.

Cost Management & Estimating

• Prepare, review, and approve cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of work completed.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project costs.

Contract Administration

• Manage contract administration including negotiation, variations, claims, and dispute resolution.

Financial Reporting & Monitoring

• Prepare interim and final payment applications.
• Monitor and report on project financial performance, including risk identification and mitigation strategies.

Compliance & Standards

• Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying and contract management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Experience working within Saudi Arabia's construction market is a plus.
• Working experience in PMC/PMO or Consultant Companies.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in cost control, contract negotiation, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
