Role Purpose
To provide post-contract commercial contract administration, ensuring effective management of payments, variations, claims, and all contractual obligations while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and compliance with contract terms.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Contract Administration
- Manage re-measurement, interim and final account payment applications and assessments.
- Monitor Monthly Cost Reports.
- Process variations and contractor claims.
- Administer Provisional Sums and Prime Costs.
- Manage Nominated Sub-Contractors.
- Oversee insurances and bonds management.
- Attend design and commercial meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
- Minimum 4 years in a consultant and/or client background.
- Experience in high-rise office or residential sectors.
- Previous experience with FIDIC Contracts preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of QS software Cost X or similar.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Good project background.
- Technical writing ability in English.
- Proven English language skills.
