Role Purpose
To provide post-contract commercial contract administration, ensuring proper management of re-measurement, payment applications, variations, claims, and all commercial aspects of construction contracts on assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Contract Administration
- Conduct re-measurement assessments and interim and final account payment application reviews.
- Prepare Monthly Cost Reports.
- Manage variations and contractor claims.
- Administer Provisional Sums and Prime Costs.
- Oversee Nominated Sub-Contractors management.
- Manage insurances and bonds.
- Attend design and commercial meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
- Minimum 4 years in consultant and/or client background.
- Experience in one of the following key sectors: High rise office or residential.
- Previous experience with FIDIC Contracts preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of QS software Cost X or similar.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong English language technical writing ability and skills.
- Proven project background.
