QC Manager (Construction Quality Manager)

Role Overview

Construction Quality Manager at Archirodon Group N.V, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role reports to the Project Manager and Division QC Manager with a dedicated line of communication to the Quality Director on overall project quality matters.

Role Purpose

Lead and coordinate all quality activities and personnel across a major project site to ensure compliance with company IMS policies, contract requirements, and quality standards. Serve as the principal quality assurance and control authority for the project, managing QAQC functions across all construction disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Operations & Coordination

• Manage and coordinate all quality activities on site.
• Assign quality personnel including QC Engineers, QC Inspectors, Document Controllers, and 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Companies to particular activities and work areas.
• Perform regular reviews and critical inspections on large-scale capital projects as required.

Compliance & Standards

• Review and monitor the application of Company IMS Policies and Procedures applicable to the Quality Department at project level.
• Review contract requirements to determine whether Company IMS documents can be implemented as-is or whether project-specific versions are required.
• Advise the Quality Director and Project Manager on compliance findings and recommendations.

Reporting & Communication

• Report to the Project Manager and Division QC Manager.
• Maintain dedicated line of communication with the Quality Director on overall project quality related matters.
• Maintain contact with the Corporate Material Manager on all matters concerning civil works materials.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized or reputed university.
• Certified as Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015.
• Minimum 20 years total experience in quality assurance and control.
• Minimum 5 years specific experience as QA/QC Manager on Oil & Gas EPC projects, managing QAQC function across disciplines including Pipeline, Piping, Process Equipment, Structures, Painting & Coating, and Insulation.
• ADNOC approval as Construction Quality Manager.
