QC INSPECTOR

Role Overview

QC Inspector at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Ensure product quality and conformance throughout production and shipping by conducting inspections at critical control points, managing non-conforming materials, and reporting quality status to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production & Setup

• Check Job Ticket (JFT) before starting production.
• Check Raw Materials (RM) before starting production.
• Perform QC production start-up inspection.
• Approve First Piece Production of the job order.

Production Monitoring

• Perform Production online inspection.
• Hold production on any machine for non-conforming product.
• Notify Shift Supervisor and machine crew about non-conforming products.

Material Management

• Separate non-conforming material with HOLD tags and release conforming materials with QC PASSED tag.
• Verify that HOLD materials are scrapped according to QA unit head recommendation and Operator approval.
• Collect appropriate samples upon each new order printing/production for job jacket preparation.

Reporting & Communication

• Report daily inspection sheets to Unit head.
• Directly report non-conformance to Unit head and follow up on corrective actions.
• Handover the shift through the logbook to next shift.

Shipping & Final Inspection

• Conduct Finished Goods (FG) shipping inspection upon each shipping loading and give clearance upon conformance.
