Role Purpose

The QC Inspector performs quality control and inspection activities across civil discipline and batch plant operations, ensuring compliance with project requirements and international codes through systematic inspection processes, documentation review, and coordination with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Civil Activities Monitoring & Control

• Monitor overall civil activities including Infrastructure and Roads, Flyover Bridge and Tunnel, Asphalt and Concrete work, Underground Utilities, Storm water and Sewerage Network, Piling (Bored Pile and Stone Column), Concrete Coating, Earthworks, Tank and Mechanical Foundations, Substation and Control Building.
• Monitor Material Testing Laboratory activities including Soil, Asphalt, and Concrete testing.
• Monitor LBE, MOM, INCR and overall civil activities.
• Perform batch plant inspection.

Inspection Execution & Coordination

• Manage and perform inspection of civil discipline.
• Perform and coordinate inspection with client.
• Generate client Requests For Inspection (RFI) where required, providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points.
• Carry out QC Supervisor responsibilities in their absence.
• Control quality violations through regular tool box talk with the construction team.

Quality Documentation & Review

• Prepare, review and approve related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded.
• Prepare and review Quality procedure documents submitted by Subcontractors, including Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Material Approval Request (MAR).

Inspection Process Management

• Set and apply practical inspection processes of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes, providing ITP and managing Matrix.
• Control inspection status using systematic tools such as inspection matrix.

Nonconformance & Corrective Action

• Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and support preparation of Corrective Action Plan properly.
• Investigate and analyze nonconformities and observations, figuring out solutions.

Technical Review & Reporting

• Review and justify Inspection requests and technical reports.
• Prepare reports and maintain records using computer systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School diploma or higher education.
• Overall 5 years of experience with 3 years in Inspection specialty.
• Aramco experience is required.
• CBT Pass is preferred for QC Inspector.
• SAP No. and CBT pass should be mentioned in CV if available.

• Technical knowledge and familiarity with related international codes and standards in particular discipline.
