Role Overview
QA/QC Supervisor - Project with ABIS. This role oversees day-to-day quality control activities across all site disciplines, supervising QC Inspectors, coordinating inspection and test plan execution, and ensuring consistent application of quality standards and procedures.
Role Purpose
The QA/QC Supervisor ensures consistent quality across all project work fronts by managing the QC Inspection team, executing approved inspection and test plans, managing non-conformances, and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation for handover.
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of QC Inspectors across all disciplines.
- Coordinate training and technical guidance for QC Inspectors on inspection procedures and standards.
- Verify calibration and control of inspection and test equipment used by the QC team.
Inspection & Test Execution
- Ensure inspections, tests, and hold points are executed per approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Conduct quality walkdowns and spot-check inspections across active work fronts.
- Coordinate hold point notifications and inspection scheduling with client and third-party inspectors.
Quality Documentation & Reporting
- Review daily QC inspection reports and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
- Report quality performance, trends, and issues to the QC Manager.
- Support preparation and compilation of quality documentation for handover dossiers.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Support the QC Manager in managing the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process and corrective actions.
Stakeholder & Process Management
- Liaise with construction supervision to resolve quality-related work front issues.
- Support internal quality audits and readiness for client and third-party audits.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8β10 years of experience in quality control on EPC/industrial construction projects, including supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) or a related field.
- QC/inspection certification preferred.

Performance is evaluated based on: number and severity of non-conformances (NCRs), inspection schedule and hold point compliance, first-time inspection pass rate across disciplines, timely closure of NCRs and punch-list items, and quality of QC team documentation and reporting.
