QA/QC Manager

Role Overview

QA/QC Manager at Ejov. This role delivers experienced quality guidance that supports effective delivery and consistent functional practice across the organization.

Role Purpose

Execute a wide range of quality activities that strengthen compliance, assurance, and operational reliability. Reinforce adoption of quality systems through accurate application of standards and tools. Develop capability by expanding advisory scope and strengthening professional judgment.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Compliance

• Manage a portfolio of audit assignments.
• Ensure the team plans and delivers audits that cover identified risk areas.
• Agree appropriate corrective actions with auditees.
• Resolve issues arising from audits and refer serious or contentious issues to the audit program leader.

Quality Assurance Testing

• Validate and interpret complex test data to evaluate and recommend the suitability of nonstandard materials or components.
• Develop and validate complex new test methods and procedures for a product or operations segment.
• Incorporate new technologies and meet changing organizational, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Quality Management System

• Contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes in scope of the quality management system.
• Contribute to the design of the quality management system.
• Provide specialist quality management input to the drafting of new policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the design of business processes.
• Contribute to the quantification of costs and business benefits of change.

Document and Information Management

• Edit documents in line with organizational style guidelines.
• Prepare information for publication.
• Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
• Resolve queries and issues, referring very complex or contentious issues to others.

Work Scheduling and Allocation

• Develop short- or medium-term work schedules to achieve planned commitments.
• Approve overtime or use additional resources as needed.

Personal Capability Building

• Participate in assessment and development planning activities.
• Pursue formal and informal training and coaching.
• Gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level.
• Substantial general work experience: over 6 to 10 years.
• Comprehensive job-related experience in quality assurance and quality control to fully competent level.
• Basic managerial experience coordinating the work of others: 4 to 6 months.
