QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

QA Automation Engineer at Nagarro. The role is based in Abu Dhabi, with candidates from India eligible if able to relocate.

Role Purpose

Design and execute automated testing solutions using Playwright and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in AI-assisted testing, API testing, and automation framework architecture to support agile delivery and test reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Testing

• Lead automation testing using Playwright with JavaScript and hands-on AI experience.
• Deliver API testing and mocking solutions.
• Design automation frameworks that scale across test environments.
• Execute manual testing when required.

Strategy & Governance

• Apply knowledge of Agile methodologies and test strategy.
• Establish test reporting practices and test environment management.

Stakeholder Management

• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies

Must Have

• Playwright with JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience in automation, API testing, and mocking.
• Strong expertise in automation framework design.

Good To Have

• Playwright with TypeScript.
• AI and chatbot testing.
• Selenium experience.
• Strong background in automation frameworks.

Additional Information

• Candidates in India must be able to travel to Abu Dhabi.
• Candidates in Abu Dhabi must be available to join immediately.
