Role Purpose

Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all public areas throughout the hotel to ensure consistently high standards in accordance with hotel policies and procedures, while responding promptly to guest needs and supporting the wider housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Cleaning

• Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, staircases, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners and floor polishers safely and efficiently.
• Replenish supplies in public restrooms and ensure that amenities are fully stocked and functional.

Guest Service

• Immediately respond to guest requests or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance and demonstrate positive body language and demeanor.

Health, Safety & Reporting

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and hotel standard operating procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the appropriate departments.

Team Support

• Support housekeeping team with additional tasks during peak periods or special events.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2 or more years in a similar role.
• Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Positive and approachable personality.
