Role Purpose

Lead and execute all mechanical shutdown and turnaround activities from initiation through completion, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality project delivery while managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Execution

• Plan and lead all mechanical shutdown and turnaround activities from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed execution plans and schedules in alignment with project objectives.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and coordinate the execution team to ensure timely and safe project delivery.
• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders for seamless execution.

Monitoring & Control

• Monitor and control project progress, performance, and resource allocation.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all phases of the shutdown.

Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with mechanical shutdown operations.

Continuous Improvement

• Conduct post-shutdown reviews and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven 10+ years of experience managing mechanical shutdowns and turnaround projects in the Oil & Energy industry.
• 3+ years of managerial or team leader experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and safety protocols.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
