Role Overview

Role Purpose

Ensure customer satisfaction through effective project management and delivery of Grid Automation Orders from order entry to project commissioning, achieving repeatable customer business results.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Delivery

• Lead the successful execution of Grid Automation Orders booked in UAE.
• Plan, monitor, and control project activities across scope, time, and cost parameters.
• Ensure that all order execution related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments.
• Ensure that the portfolio of projects follows good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures.
• Close projects as per contracts entered with customers.

Performance Management & KPIs

• Monitor and achieve key performance indicators including Revenue, Cash Flow, Inventory, On-time Delivery, and Customer Satisfaction.

Stakeholder & Customer Management

• Build strong relations with customers and manage customer satisfaction by ensuring on-time execution of projects.
• Lead the coordination of any customer request whether related to execution or additional requests to projects which lead to additional sales.

Risk & Issue Management

• Take an active role in identifying risks, negotiating, and resolving escalated issues, especially those raised by the customer.
• Identify and mitigate risks and challenges through analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate effectively with the Head of Project Management Team for regular project reviews.
• Conduct project reviews with factory management and factory Project Managers to ensure contract fulfilment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, or equivalent with strong technical background.
• Minimum five years' experience in project management.
• PMP certification.
• Experience in Hitachi Energy Products (IEDs & SCADAs) with exposure to Project Management in UAE.
• Experience with utilities is an added advantage.
• SAP or another ERP platform knowledge is an advantage.
