Project Engineering Manager - Energy & Infrastructure

Role Overview

BlackStone eIT seeks an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of energy and infrastructure projects. The role is based in the UAE and requires strong technical expertise combined with proven leadership capabilities in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating with regulatory authorities.

Role Purpose

Lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of energy and infrastructure projects while managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinating with regulatory authorities, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end delivery of energy and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and overall performance metrics.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensure performance alignment.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders including government and regulatory authorities.
• Engage stakeholders to support project outcomes.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Support project reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas, energy infrastructure, or related sectors.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience in project delivery, planning, and budgeting.
• Strong background in stakeholder management and coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Petroleum, or equivalent).
• Experience working within the UAE regulatory and utility landscape (preferred).
• Exposure to entities such as DoE, ADNOC, DMT, Civil Defense (preferred).
