Role Overview

Role Purpose
The Project Engineer will manage and supervise bridge construction and maintenance activities on-site, coordinating daily operations across multiple stakeholders while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and schedules. The role requires planning, coordination, supervision, and delivery of bridge works from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
On-Site Management & Supervision
- Manage and supervise bridge construction and maintenance activities on-site.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to project requirements.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate daily operations with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support to project stakeholders.
Technical Review & Engineering
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical submittals.
- Identify technical issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
Planning & Resource Management
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, resource allocation, and work plans.
Quality, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, RTA, and other relevant authority requirements.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality control activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations and company safety procedures.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in bridge construction, bridge rehabilitation, or bridge maintenance projects.
- Strong knowledge of bridge structures, concrete repair works, structural strengthening, bearings, expansion joints, and maintenance methodologies.
- Experience working on UAE infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of project planning, quality management, and construction methodologies.
- Previous experience on RTA, Dubai Municipality, or other major UAE infrastructure projects is advantageous.
- Certification in project management or construction management is an advantage.

- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and project documentation processes.
Additional Information
