Role Overview
Project Controls Engineer at Archirodon Group N.V, based in UAE on a newly awarded Oil & Gas project.

Role Purpose
To manage project controls, documentation, procurement oversight, cost tracking, and contractual administration for a major Oil & Gas EPC project in the UAE, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and maintaining comprehensive project records.
Key Responsibilities
Project Controls & Documentation
- Draft project-specific Project Controls Procedures as per contract requirements.
- Maintain project records and diaries including photos, list of daily activities, climate conditions, utilized and idle resources, productivities, important events, and verbal site instructions.
- Initiate, coordinate and maintain Project List(s) of Deliverables including those for project procedures, plans, engineering, procurement, material submittals, and method statements.
Reporting & Analysis
- Participate in preparing project internal and external reports in the required format.
- Monitor contract scope of work and any variations thereto.
- Assist in preparing budget and current estimates and monitor any variances.
Procurement & Subcontracts
- Put together procurement packages including quantities take-off, contract specifications, technical requirements, and delivery schedule.
- Initiate and maintain Procurement Status Register.
- Prepare and maintain Subcontractors Register.
- Assist in drafting subcontract agreements and negotiating subcontract prices.
- Assist in subcontracts administration and related correspondences, measurements, payment certification, and closing final account.
Engineering & Materials Management
- Coordinate and maintain Engineering Deliverables Status Register.
- Prepare a List of Project Materials along with required quantities and maintain continuous project materials reconciliation.
Claims & Variations
- Prepare and maintain Variations and Claims Registers.
- Collect, maintain and group contemporary records necessary for assessment and substantiation of variations and claims.
- Prepare variation and claim submissions.
Cost Management
- Collaborate with quantity surveyors in preparing and submitting monthly payment requests.
- Participate in establishing project cost centers and allocate costs accordingly.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Engineering.
- 5 years relevant experience in construction industry at similar level.
- Experience in EPC Projects with ADNOC or equivalent is essential.
Skills & Competencies
- Cost estimation, cost control, planning, risk management and contractual knowledge.
- Engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning awareness.
- Knowledge of project management tools.
- Knowledge of basic financial concepts.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Good communication and interface with Project Team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Operational mindset.
- Capability to perform under stressful situations.
